70 Years of Hot-Formed Glass in Železný Brod

A summer exhibition at the Městská galerie Vlastimila Rady commemorates 70 years since the firing of the first glass furnace in Železný Brod and the phenomenon of hot glass shaping, which significantly influenced the character of local glassmaking. It will present the beginnings of furnace production and its significance for the artistic and craft development of Železný Brod glass. The exhibition will also pay tribute to the work of generations of glassmakers whose creations are inextricably linked to the town.
