About this event
Film screening followed by a discussion
For ten years, the director followed the life of Alice, a girl who, as a teenager, became the mother of Arista, a child conceived in a relationship with Dorian, a man significantly older than her. From close quarters, she observed the complex dynamics of this dysfunctional family – as well as Alice’s desperate struggle to find her own path, marked by a traumatic childhood and premature motherhood fraught with difficult decisions. Over time, the director became part of this fragile equation. *Alice On & Off* is the story of a young woman’s gradual disappearance – a sensitive artist fleeing from her own demons.
