Art Week Liberec celebrates ten years this year. The program connects site-specific installations, sound interventions, performances, objects, and participatory projects created directly for specific locations. The artists do not bring new stories to these spaces.
The festival connects Liberec and Jablonec nad Nisou through exhibitions, performances, lectures, guided walks, and artistic interventions in the public space. Individual projects open up themes of memory, communication, identity, landscape, and shared experience, inviting visitors to become an active part of them.
The tenth edition of Art Week Liberec is an invitation to slow down. To look closely, listen, and discover places that we may pass by every day—and yet, they still hold stories waiting to be rediscovered.
The grand opening of the 10th edition of the contemporary art festival Art Week Liberec, attended by the artists and organizers, will take place on 12. 9. 2026 at 14:00 at KKC Linserka. Admission free.
