"Aren't you afraid?" - My trip to Kurdistan, Iraq.
Friends and acquaintances warned me once again about my recklessness. In their minds, there were only images of crisis, destruction, and danger. I didn't travel unprepared and not alone: I accompanied my Kurdish friend to visit her family in Northern Iraq. It only took a few glasses of tea to go from guest to feeling like a member of the family. I quickly learned what it means to have a big family. From modest homes to modern villas - everywhere we met people with an unbridled will to build a good future. And food, lots of food, and even more sweets and chai were always an initial connection, even though I only understood the language in fragments. We visited many wonderful places. I will talk about this and give a little impression in pictures and videos of my wonderful trip.
