The story follows the coming-of-age of little Vašek, who is enchanted by the world of the big circus – a world that thrives on applause, courage, and the determination to give your all; a world where only the most persistent survive, where every mistake counts, and where beauty can be found even in a fall. Acrobats, animal trainers, clowns, and all those essential people from the caravans live and work together for the magic of their art as one living, colourful organism; much like people in the theatre. There will be no shortage of romance, humour, or dramatic moments – and above all, the atmosphere that made us dream of the big top as children.
