Actress Ivana Jirešová brings a new theatrical play, The Dalai Lama's Cat, to the stage. The production was dramatized and directed by Jakub Zindulka based on the global bestseller by David Michie, which has captured the hearts of millions of readers around the world. You can look forward to one actress, one voice, and one view from feline eyes that see more than we might expect.
You will see a story about the search for balance, happiness, and peace in everyday life, told from a surprising perspective – through the eyes of His Holiness's cat. The main character moves between the street and the temple, between love and loss, between a bowl of milk and a recipe for happiness.
The performance, which takes place on Tuesday, November 17, from 7:00 PM in the Main Hall of Eurocentrum Jablonec, brings humor, compassion, small everyday dramas, and perhaps even the answer to why it is sometimes worth it to purringly remain calm.
Ivana Jirešová, who has long been interested in spirituality, yoga, and a conscious lifestyle, has transformed this inspiring material into a theatrical form with delicacy, humor, and depth.
The running time is 70 minutes without an intermission.
