Dani Larkin live at Orinoco Books & Cafecito
On October 1, 2026, celebrated Northern Irish alternative-folk artist Dani Larkin comes to Zittau for the first time – for a special concert evening in the intimate setting of Orinoco Books & Cafecito.
The singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Belfast combines haunting stories with Celtic folklore, acoustic guitar, and banjo. Her music draws from Irish mythology, personal experiences, and current themes such as belonging, loss, landscape, and conflict – simultaneously poetic, bold, and deeply human.
With her highly acclaimed albums, international tours through Europe, Canada, Australia, and South Korea, as well as performances with artists like Snow Patrol, Rufus Wainwright, Lisa O’Neill, and Glen Hansard, Dani Larkin has created a distinctive voice in the contemporary folk scene. Her current album Next of Kin combines traditional Irish melodies with her own compositions.
A rare musical encounter: international folk art, Irish stories, and the warm, personal atmosphere of Orinoco in Zittau.
