After several years, the singer Dasha and her band are returning to the beautiful setting of the Church of the Holy Trinity this year. You can look forward to pop, soul, funk, and famous musical melodies.
Dasha - a singer with an unmistakable voice, she graduated from the Prague State Conservatory and in 2005 studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA. For 16 years, she served as Karel Gott's lead vocalist. She performs as a soloist on television shows (e.g., StarDance… když hvězdy tančí) and tours with her own band or the Moondance Orchestra. She also has several symphonic projects to her name with Martin Kumžák, who writes the arrangements and wields the conductor's baton, such as Dasha symphony, the Saint Wenceslas Oratorio, or the Michael Jackson Symphony. She played the title role in the musical Popelka, Ophelia in both the Czech and English versions of the musical Hamlet, and Mia in Galileo. She has played roles in Angelika and Mona Lisa in the musicals of the same name, and Katarina and Carmen in alternation with Lucie Bílá in the musical Carmen. You can still see her on the stage of the Karlín Musical Theatre in the musicals Bodyguard or Beetlejuice.
