A journey out of the city into the depths of the night forest. A puppet comedy for the 100th anniversary of tramping in Bohemia.
Twice a year, the clocks change. In the spring, they go forward an hour, and to balance it out, one autumn night the clock hands go back an hour again. Thanks to this, that October Saturday night is an hour longer. And it is precisely during this mysterious “extra hour” that our new production, based on the original play by Vít Peřina, reaches its climax.
Its main characters are siblings Maruška and Honzík, who set off with their father, a former tramper, to a tramping settlement hidden deep in the woods. A gathering of trampers, called a potlach, is taking place there. None of them suspect that on this very night, at the moment when that magical time shift occurs, they will experience a grand and wonderful night-time adventure together.
