Good Vintage 1972-1976

We cordially invite you to an exhibition of works by graduates of the 1972–1976 class of the Secondary School of Applied Arts for Glassmaking in Železný Brod.

The professional careers of the graduates have developed in various directions since the 1970s, which is why the exhibited pieces represent not only diverse fields of glass processing but also other artistic disciplines close to the individual nature of each creator. Visitors can get to know original glass objects, artifacts from the field of applied arts and crafts, as well as photographs, graphics, and paintings.

The impulse for this joint meeting and subsequent exhibition activity was the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the SUPŠS school, which took place in 2020. At that time, a group of graduates introduced themselves to the public for the first time with the “Good Vintage” exhibition at the Kittel House in Pěnčín.

Come and see the work of creators whose artistic paths are connected by a common foundation in glassmaking school, but at the same time reflect decades of individual development, experience, and creative freedom.
