If the sun shines on Sunday, Mr. Mon comes to visit on Monday, you do your duty on Tuesday, Wednesday is the middle of the week, it thunders on Thursday, and you are off on Friday, you have surely experienced a special week.
But what happens on Saturday? It's obvious – that's when the Sams arrives! The Sams is a red-haired, cheeky, and very voracious creature with strange blue dots on its face. And it plops right into the well-ordered but somewhat monotonous life of a good-natured man named Mr. Taschenbier. Mr. Taschenbier, in turn, suddenly has his hands full, because the Sams, in all innocence, is constantly causing chaos and catastrophes: the unfriendly landlady Mrs. Rotkohl gets led by the nose, an entire department store is thrown into turmoil, and Mr. Taschenbier's boss also gets a piece of the action.
But while the Sams turns the manageable world of Taschenbier upside down, the man suddenly finds one wish after another fulfilled. What a life! From one day to the next, it is colorful and turbulent. At first, Mr. Taschenbier finds it all a bit uncomfortable, but soon he notices how much the little creature has grown on him. As their wonderful time together draws to a close, he knows what he must do…
