About this event
Once again this year, we are hosting the Buchsommer Sachsen for students aged 11 to 16. Well-established for years in Zittau and Löbau, the goal for kids and teens is to read 3 books over the summer holidays, collect stamps, and receive an invitation to an exclusive closing event. Kids and teenagers using the mobile library and in selected municipal libraries in our region also have the chance to participate in the Buchsommer and receive an invitation to one of the closing events in Zittau or Löbau.

The Buchsommer Sachsen is under the patronage of the Saxon State Ministry of Education and is funded by the Saxon State Ministry for Science and the Arts. Organization is provided by the Saxon State Association of the German Library Association (Deutscher Bibliotheksverband e.V.).
