Come to Rybfest below Lemberk Castle! Compete in the fish cooking show or taste excellent carp specialties and decide on the winner. A varied accompanying program for children and adults awaits you.
We invite you to the 2nd annual fish culinary competition, which will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in the parking lot below Lemberk Castle. Competing teams will battle it out preparing original carp specialties in cauldrons over an open fire on-site.
You will be part of the jury!
Visitors can taste the individual dishes and decide on the winner.
There will also be an accompanying program for children.
Admission: free, option to purchase voting tickets "kaprovky" for 200 Kč (allows tasting of all 10 dishes and subsequent voting for the winner)
Daily schedule:
9:00 - 10:00 – preparation of the spot and fire pit
10:00 - 13:00 – contestants cooking
12:00 - 15:00 – tastings and public voting
15:30 - 16:00 – announcement of the winner
Refreshments:
You definitely won't be leaving us hungry. In addition to the carp dishes that the competing teams will conjure up, you can also taste our grilled or smoked fish, popular carp fries, or a fish burger. For those who don't like fish, we have homemade pizza, among other things.
