South African singer-songwriter Gerald Clark and Czech guitarist Jiří Maršíček combine blues, folk, soul, and African musical roots into a captivating acoustic duo. Gerald Clark is one of the most respected South African blues singer-songwriters. His music grows from blues, folk, soul, and rock, yet it cannot hide the inspiration of his native South Africa. In addition to his distinctive guitar style, he is also known as an exceptional storyteller – he intersperses his concerts with humorous and touching stories about the origins of individual tracks, thanks to which his performances gain a remarkably personal atmosphere. He has received numerous awards for his work, and his albums have been nominated for major South African music awards.

On European tours, he is accompanied by Czech blues guitarist and singer Jiří Maršíček, who has built a reputation over the years as a prominent figure on the local blues scene. His playing is based on traditional blues, but at the same time naturally draws from soul, funk, and more modern musical influences. Together they create a perfectly synchronized acoustic duo where African musical tradition meets European blues sensibility.
