ICH & HERR MEYER are among the most popular family music projects in Germany. Catchy pop songs, humor, imaginative lyrics, and direct audience interaction turn their concert into a joyful event for children and adults alike. They are bringing a program full of energy, singing, and shared fun to Mandava Jazz.

ICH & HERR MEYER have been one of the most successful German family music projects for ten years. The Berlin duo has gained popularity for their original songs, which combine pop, rock, reggae, rap, country, and other musical styles. Their work draws on the everyday lives of children and parents, capturing themes relatable to the whole family with humor and perspective. In addition to ten new tracks, their new anniversary album Spieleabend also features a new version of their most famous song, Mein Pony heißt Luise, recorded together with the band The BossHoss.

The duo plays around eighty concerts a year, performing at major music festivals, on television, and at school projects, and in 2021 they won the Deutschen Kinderliederpreis for the song Frühling kommt, yeah. Alongside their concert activities, they are also dedicated to music workshops for primary schools and projects focused on sustainability and cultural education.

They will bring a concert full of catchy melodies, humor, movement, and group singing to the Mandava Jazz festival. Their performance manages to effortlessly connect several generations and turn a concert into a playful celebration of music that entertains children and parents alike.
