The best of Jablonec! Modern gastronomy, quality music, diverse stalls, glass and jewellery
The largest festival of the Jablonec cultural summer will enliven the city centre for the fourth time, from Friday 21 August to Saturday 22 August. The modern cultural festival connects glass and jewellery traditions with gastronomy, music, and diverse markets. It is dedicated to all residents of Jablonec nad Nisou and the Liberec Region, as well as tourists visiting the capital of glass and jewellery. The name refers to the Jablonec glass and jewellery tradition (beads/pearls) as well as to interesting achievements in art, gastronomy, and music (gems/pearls).
Jablonecká Perle will take place for the second year under the auspices of the Czech Commission for UNESCO, which was awarded to the festival for raising awareness of glass and jewellery traditions and supporting the next generation of artisans in these fields.
The event is held as part of the 12th year of the
Jablonecké tóny festival.
The voluntary admission to the event is a bead, a piece of glass, a pearl, or a piece of jewellery. A growing work of art is created from the donated items, becoming a reflection of us all. This year we will present another part of it, which was created from the voluntary admission of previous years.
The event is organized by the Statutory City of Jablonec nad Nisou through the organization Kultura Jablonec p.o. and the Museum of Glass and Jewellery in Jablonec nad Nisou. Co-organizers are SUNDISK s.r.o. and the District Chamber of Commerce. Event partners are Rengl, s.r.o. and Tatrhy,
