The best of Jablonec! Modern cuisine, great music, colourful stalls, glassware and costume jewellery

We invite you to the fifth anniversary edition of the largest festival of the Jablonec cultural summer, taking place in the centre of Jablonec nad Nisou from Friday 20 August to Saturday 21 August.
This modern cultural festival combines the traditions of glassmaking and costume jewellery with gastronomy, music and colourful markets. It is dedicated to all residents of Jablonec nad Nisou and the Liberec Region, as well as to tourists who have come to visit the capital of glass and costume jewellery. The name refers both to Jablonec’s glass and costume jewellery tradition (perle) and to notable achievements in the fields of art, gastronomy and music (perly).
The last two editions of the festival were held under the patronage of the Czech National Commission for UNESCO, which was awarded to Perla for raising awareness of glassmaking and costume jewellery traditions and for supporting the next generation of craftspeople in these sectors.
Free admission
A bead, piece of glass, seed bead or item of costume jewellery serves as a voluntary admission ticket to the event.

CRAFTS AND DESIGN MARKET
Upper Square | Saturday 21 August from 10.00 to 18.00
At the market, you’ll find a carefully curated selection of works by local brands, designers and craftspeople. You can look forward to original jewellery, ceramics, glassware, fashion, accessories, home décor and other unique items, all created with a focus on high-quality materials, attention to detail and skilful craftsmanship. Come along to browse, discover and choose something with its own story – something you won’t find just anywhere.

GLASSMAKERS
Upper Square | Saturday 21 August from 10.00 to 18.00
Discover the world of glass and jewellery as presented by local masters, brands, schools and institutions. You can look forward to original glass products and jewellery for sale, demonstrations of traditional and contemporary techniques, as well as workshops where you can try your hand at glassmaking yourself.

CRYSTAL TRAM
Take a ride on the historic tram (T3) during the Jablonec Pearl Festival and Crystal Valley Week. It stops at all stops along the route. Travel is free of charge.
