About this event

For centuries, autumn has been a time for preparing stores for winter. During this meeting, we will talk about traditional ways of storing and preserving food that have been present in Polish homes for generations. Participants will learn about ancient methods of fermenting, drying, pickling, preparing preserves, compotes, and smoking, as well as finding out which products were most often found in home pantries.

An important element of the meeting will be a presentation of regional differences in preparing stores, the ingredients used, spices, and local recipes passed down from generation to generation.
