The traditional independent student competition Ještěd f Kleci returns for its 36th year to connect the world of future architects and designers with the public space of Liberec. The four-day program, intended for students, experts and the general public, will offer, in addition to the presentation of the best semester works, a series of lectures, open studios, film screenings, debates with a professional jury and musical performances.
Program highlights:
Wednesday, June 17 (Lesní koupaliště): Informal opening, lecture by juror Kateřina Vídeňová, student performance and concert by the band Letmo.
Thursday, June 18 (Linserka & město): Morning Archirun run with Jan Koníček, pop-up creative event with the Fúzia collective, evening debate with the jury and screening of the film Vymyslme nový sport.
Friday, June 19 (Building F, FUA TUL): Open studio day, lectures by guest studios (P. Sceranková, D. Záhoranský, Jinjan studio) and the ceremonial announcement of this year's results. This will be followed by the traditional afterparty at Bar Papír (bands Angst, Svaz and DJs).
Saturday, June 20 (Bar Papír): Joint closing breakfast for students, teachers, graduates and guests.
Expert jury of the 36th year: The winning projects from the fields of architecture, urbanism and environmental design will be decided by an independent jury consisting of prominent figures of the contemporary scene: Anna Fiedlerová, Max Mohl, Kateřina Vídeňová, Jiří Pitrmuc and Jonáš Krýzl.
