KARL HERMANN FRANK – TREACHERY, CRIME, PUNISHMENT

The exhibition focuses on one of the most prominent representatives of the Nazi regime in our territory. On May 23, a rich accompanying program will be held all day for this exhibition.

10:00 GUIDED WALK

Places connected with WWII led by PhDr. Lubor Lacina, historian of the North Bohemian Museum in Liberec. The tour starts at Palác Liebieg, duration approx. 2 hours.

14:00 SCREENING OF THE DOCUMENTARY FILM NATIONAL CLEANSING

The film opens up the topic of one of the darkest parts of our history - post-war retribution trials and people's courts. After the screening, there will be a discussion with the director Jaroslav Kratochvíl.

16:00 CAMPS AND WAR PRODUCTION

Discussion with Ivan Rous, author of the book mapping the extensive network of Nazi labor, prisoner-of-war, and concentration camps that were closely linked to war production in the Liberec and Jablonec regions.
