About this event
Visitors agree that concerts by Kateřina Marie Tichá, accompanied by the band Bandjeez and a brass section, are an uplifting and emotional experience. There is no longer any doubt: a star has been born in the Czech pop scene. Don't miss out!
Vlašim native Kateřina Marie Tichá was nominated for a Czech Nightingale (Český Slavík) award in the Discovery of the Year category in 2013, and in the same year, she began her ongoing collaboration with the then-newly formed band Jelen. In 2015, she released the five-song EP Otazníky, followed in 2020 by her debut album Sami, which was one of the most pleasant surprises on the Czech music scene. The singer followed up her Anděl-awarded debut with the highly anticipated second studio album, Plamen – the first recorded in collaboration with the band Bandjeez, which she took over after David Stypka. The new release was again produced by the multi-talented Ondřej Turták, and by all indications, it is one of the musical events of the year. 2024 was a breakthrough year for the charismatic singer. Her album Plamen, released at the beginning of February, was one of the musical events of the year. The album ranked among the best-selling albums in the Czech Republic, and the single reached the 3rd position among the most-played tracks (including international competition) on Czech radio. The tour of the same name, with 13 stops, was sold out, including two concerts at the Lucerna Music Bar in Prague and the Sono Music Club in Brno. Due to the unprecedented success of the tour, another 18 concerts were added across the Czech Republic.
