The Keno Harriehausen Quartet is one of the most interesting representatives of contemporary German chamber jazz. German pianist and composer Keno Harriehausen is one of the figures seeking new paths between jazz and European classical music. With his international quartet, he creates an original musical world in which jazz improvisation naturally blends with inspiration from composers such as Maurice Ravel or Dmitri Shostakovich. The result is compositions rich in color, dynamic contrasts, and subtle chamber interplay.
