The Städtische Museen Zittau cordially invite you to children's and family tours under the theme “Judaism in Zittau.” Children aged 5 and up, teenagers, and their accompanying adults will explore the history of the Jewish community in Zittau together with museum educator Dr. Juliane Irma Mihan. There is much to discover and learn: What did the Zittau Synagogue look like, and where was it located? What do the decorations on Jewish gravestones mean? Who knows about Jewish holidays and how they are celebrated? What is a kippah, and what is a mezuzah? How can you write your own name using Hebrew letters? And who will win at the dreidel game?
