About this event
Join us for a unique concert by MOA TEARS. Moa were extinct birds of New Zealand – the largest that ever walked the Earth. It is from them that the Wrocław-based alternative band Moa Tears took its name. The project was founded by Mari, a vocalist and songwriter born in West Virginia, and Adrian, a Polish drummer and composer. Live, Moa Tears create a hypnotic, cinematic, and intimate atmosphere. Combining spacious sounds with personal lyrics, they invite the audience to immerse themselves in sound, transitioning seamlessly from quiet, subtle moments to emotional climaxes. In their minimalist version, they perform as a duo, combining vocals and guitar with percussion and guitar effects, giving their songs a raw and personal, yet also spacious form.
