About this event

Kum Nye is an ancient Tibetan art of working with the body and energy

Perhaps you’re familiar with yoga. Perhaps you’ve already experienced that feeling when your body stretches, your breath deepens and your mind silences for a moment.
Now imagine taking it one step further… more slowly, more gently – yet more deeply.
Kum Nye is an ancient Tibetan art of working with the body and energy. Unlike classical yoga, which often focuses on postures, performance or flexibility, Kum Nye invites you to slow down completely. It’s not about ‘mastering something’. It’s about feeling.
What is the difference between yoga and Kum Nye?
Yoga guides you towards conscious movement and breath. Kum Nye teaches you to pause within the movement – to perceive touch, tension and release, and to let the body find its own balance.
What happens in the body?
Gentle movements and conscious touch penetrate deep into the muscles and fascia. Accumulated tension, which we are often unaware of, is released. The body begins to ‘melt’ from within.
 And the nervous system?
It calms down. It switches from survival mode to regeneration mode. Where there was stress, there is now space. Where there was pressure, there is now breath.
And the soul?
Suddenly, it has a place to be. Kum Nye isn’t just an exercise – it’s a return to yourself. To the feeling that you’re at home in your own body.
 Why give it a go?
– when you’re tired of performance and pressure
– when you feel tension in your body or mind
– when you want to slow down but don’t know how
– when you’re looking for a deeper connection with yourself
 What might you discover?
Greater sensitivity. Greater calm. More space in your body and mind. And perhaps even something that cannot be described in words – but which your body will recognise immediately.
Come and experience it for yourself.
Kum Nye cannot be understood with the mind. It must be experienced.
