Hardly anyone could forget the catchy whistled march of the gendarme from Saint-Tropez, the tender piano motif of the passionately in love Angelika, or the distinct brass fanfares of Fantômas. Music from French films has indeed found a firm place in our cultural consciousness.
That is precisely why a unique performance has been created under the baton of composer and arranger Ondřej Brzobohatý, which, through a symphony orchestra and carefully selected film clips, will evoke immortal melodies penned by French masters – this time in Liberec.
