About this event
With a refreshingly new perspective on well-known and forgotten fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm, puppeteers and storytellers Anne Swoboda (Görlitz) and Meike Kreim (Leipzig) present a special kind of storytelling evening. They act, sing, and tell stories using paper, objects, figures, and images to bring Grimm's fairy tales and fragments to life. They improvise, weaving one fairy tale into the next. The audience watches with amusement and enjoys the joy of performance. The evening concludes with fairy tales of love and desire – of being and becoming – touching upon nearly every theme of a human life.
