Summer Cinema: Unexpected Summer

Kráťa, a manager on the verge of total burnout, agrees to his sick father Miloš's request to take over the running of the dilapidated summer camp he used to attend as a child. Upon arrival, Kráťa immediately clashes with the camp staff, led by Cyril, who has been eyeing the position for years. However, the situation truly escalates with the arrival of a health inspection featuring Anežka Svobodová, Kráťa's old camp flame who now lives with his former archenemy, the now-powerful local businessman Karel. To complicate matters further, it turns out that Karel has entirely different intentions for the site where the camp is located... Kráťa is not only facing a crumbling facility and unexpected feelings, but is also gradually finding his way back to his father – a man trying to mend his relationship with his wife. It is precisely this unexpected summer in a familiar old place that brings a chance for a new beginning. Perhaps for them, perhaps for others who are discovering their own summer loves here, despite the circumstances.
