LVL: GameJam 2.0

How is a game made? The best way to find out is to create one over a single weekend.

Game Jam returns to Linserka. From Friday afternoon until Sunday, participants can look forward to 48 hours of collaborative design, development, and testing of digital and board games.

This time, we are crossing the borders of both Liberec and the Czech Republic. We are inviting aspiring and experienced creators from the Czech Republic, Germany, and Poland to Linserka. The common language will be English – basic knowledge is sufficient.

No experience with game development? No problem. At the beginning, we will introduce tools that even complete beginners can use to get involved. Throughout the Game Jam, mentors will be available to help teams with development, ideas, and troubleshooting.

During the Game Jam, mentor Yuffie – Jana Kiliánová – will be available to assist with creation, ideas, and problem-solving.

We will reveal the common theme at the start. At the end, we will present all the created games and play them together.

The Game Jam is part of the Liberec Video Game Laboratory (LVL) – a Linserka program focused on developing the gaming community, education, and supporting emerging creators in the Liberec Region.
