On Saturday, August 8, 2026, the Kořenov train station will come alive with the traditional event Model Saturday at the Zubačka Railway, which will delight all railway enthusiasts, model makers, and families with children. Visitors can look forward to a rich full-day program, historic vehicles, special trains, and an exhibition of railway models.
An exhibition of railway models in scales Z, N, TT, H0, 0, and I will be prepared in the Kořenov locomotive depot, complemented by stalls selling modeling supplies. Admission to the exhibition is 60 CZK for adults and 30 CZK for children and seniors. Guided tours of the locomotive depot are cancelled during the exhibition. The models will also be on display on Sunday, August 9, during the rides of the historic motor train until approximately 3:00 PM.
