MUTTER ANDERS invites you to a charming, humorous firework show that turns the world of women upside down with a wink. She is everything at once: mother, rebel, clown, diva—and above all, she is different!
In this fast-paced one-woman show, MUTTER ANDERS delightfully roasts society's expectations of women, as well as the expectations women have of themselves. With sharp-witted humor and brash quick-wittedness, she throws herself into all those roles women are supposedly meant to master perfectly: sexy, successful, caring, independent, strong, and, of course, always smiling.
But MUTTER ANDERS plays by her own rules! She shatters clichés, laughs at the pressure to be perfect, and shows that you can only change the world—despite everything that has been and is being done to women—if you can laugh about it and about yourself. She also gets thoughtful and quiet, touching not only the women in the audience with her thoughts and songs.
There is singing, howling, lots of laughter, and sometimes even tears—with the truth always being brought to the point with a wink.
