The four-member Danish-Czech expedition BIG ICE EXPEDITION 2011 covered nearly 600 km on skis across the Greenland ice sheet in 28 days, during the coldest April ever recorded in this part of the world. The lecture about the journey through the white wilderness recalls adventurous boys' expeditions, yet does not hide the fact that even with today's almost perfect security, it can be a matter of life and death. In 2012, the Argo publishing house released the book "Na lyžích napříč Grónskem / Reportáž z míst, kde ani polární lišky nedávají dobrou noc" (On Skis Across Greenland / Reportage from Places Where Not Even Arctic Foxes Say Goodnight) based on Zdeněk Lyčka's expedition diary.
