About this event
The Prague duo post-hudba celebrates 15 years of existence and is heading out on tour this autumn with a new acoustic take on their repertoire. Tomáš Havlen, who released his first solo album Minulá noc je jak jinej život this year, will also be performing alongside them.
post-hudba is celebrating fifteen years on the scene this year. The duo, consisting of lyricist and singer Dominik Zezula and producer and multi-instrumentalist Tomáš Havlen, blends pop sensibilities, pulsating dance rhythms, noisy guitars, and the intimacy of urban folk. Their music is accompanied by lyrics capturing the uncertainties, relationships, and everyday life of the current generation.
Following last year's album Nad prázdnou nocí kroužili sokoli, post-hudba has returned to their existing work this year from a different perspective. For their fifteenth anniversary, a songbook and an acoustic album simply titled post-hudba were created. It is not a classic "best of" collection—the duo reworked older tracks for this acoustic version, and some differ significantly from the original versions in dynamics, mood, and structure itself.
The idea for this format began to take shape during more intimate Christmas concerts, where the duo revisited songs that had already disappeared from their standard concert repertoire. What started as occasional playing gradually turned into a separate acoustic world, which post-hudba is now also presenting on their autumn tour.
The evening will be complemented by Tomáš Havlen with his solo work. He released his debut album Minulá noc je jak jinej život in March.
