Stories Without Words

About this event

The exhibition presents a collection of acrylic paintings inspired by travels, memories, and visions of places where time flows more slowly. Provence, Italy, France, and Venice become backdrops for stories that are not told through words, but through atmosphere.

A recurring motif is that of women observing the landscape, walking through cities, or simply resting quietly in the present moment. Their faces often remain hidden so that every visitor can project their own stories and emotions into the paintings.

The paintings invite the viewer to quiet down, pause, and discover the beauty of everyday moments.

The sales exhibition will be on display during the cafe's opening hours until the end of November 2026.

Curator: MgA. Pavla Zemanová

Vernissage on September 3rd at 5:00 PM.

About the artist:

Sabina Zlochová comes from Plzeň and works in education. She has been dedicated to art since childhood. During her adolescence, she attended the Basic Art School, but returned to painting intensively around the age of thirty. At thirty, she began studying Health Education and Art Education at the Faculty of Education, where she further developed her artistic expression.

In her work, she primarily seeks peace, harmony, and the beauty of ordinary moments. She finds inspiration in her travels, Mediterranean landscapes, historical cities, and blooming nature. A characteristic motif of her paintings is female figures captured from behind or in profile. These are not portraits of specific women, but rather symbols of pausing, contemplation, and inner peace.
