The artist specializes in original minimalist glass jewelry. The exhibition is open on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, on Mondays and Wednesdays until 5:30 PM, and on Fridays until 3:00 PM. The vernissage takes place on August 3rd from 4:00 PM.
In her free-form work, she utilizes a wide range of glassmaking techniques to create objects with distinctive coloration and a unique signature style. A significant theme of her glass objects is the Czech landscape, travel, cartographic elements, and geodetic points. She combines hand-painting and layering, makes use of the contrast achieved through sandblasting, and experiments with drilling, grinding, gluing, and cutting.
“I am happy to be part of Crystal Valley Week. It is an honor for me because the festival connects great creators and brings many people to glass. In addition to my glass jewelry, visitors will see objects that I haven't exhibited anywhere for a long time, as well as brand new works, which were created specifically for the festival. I am pleased that my work will reach people who might not normally visit a gallery,” says Šárka Bartko. The vernissage includes an offer of the artist's jewelry.
