You Are Not Here Forever

„You Are Gone Forever” – a play about love, war, and memory

Teatr Ziemi Zgorzeleckiej invites you to a unique and moving play, “You Are Gone Forever”, taking place on November 8, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Zamek Czocha.

Three women, three partitions, and surrounding them, love, hope, and death. The play transports the audience to the times before, during, and after the partitions, showing the fates of women who had to face the drama of war and the loss of their loved ones.

This is a moving story set in the realities of the Great War. A story about those who remained alone – wives, mothers, sisters, and daughters, building their lives on the graves of their husbands, sons, brothers, fathers, and grandfathers. About their suffering, strength, longing, and hope that allowed them to survive the most difficult moments.

The unique character of the play is emphasized by patriotic songs that give the story depth and remind us of the price of freedom and the sacrifice of past generations.

It is an encounter with history, emotions, and the memory of those who gave their lives for their homeland, and of the women who bore the burden of their loss.
