Author meeting with Halina Barań

The Mayor of the Town and Municipality of Bogatynia, Wojciech Dobrołowicz, and the Public Library in Bogatynia cordially invite you to a unique author meeting with Halina Barań – a Bogatynia resident and author appreciated for her sensitive work, who has been connected with the cultural life of our city for years.

The meeting will be combined with the promotion of her latest book, "Łuna" – a publication that prompts reflection on the human being, their place in the world, and the power of memory, emotions, and hope. It will be a unique opportunity to talk with the Author about her inspirations, the process of creating the book, and her literary path.

The event will be moderated by the Director of BOK, Marcin Woroniecki.

The book will be discussed during the author meeting by:

prof. Wojciech Browarny – literary scholar, juror of the Angelus Central European Literature Award;
prof. Dietrich Scholze – German literary scholar and critic.
