St Martin’s Day celebrations – St Martin is coming to visit us

The St Martin’s Day celebrations will feature music, crafts, refreshments and a procession with St Martin on a white horse!

We invite you to our autumn event, which will take place from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm on the small square in front of the Central shopping centre.
You can look forward to a varied programme: a performance by the medieval band Duro Nux and a performance by Malé Nisanek.
St Martin will also arrive on a white horse with his squires, who will be coming from Mírové náměstí – you are welcome to join the procession too. St Martin and his retinue will set off from the town hall at 5.00 pm.
Throughout the event, there will be stalls on the square offering refreshments, handmade products from sheltered workshops and demonstrations of traditional crafts.
The St Martin’s procession is held under the patronage of Deputy Mayor Ing. Jana Hamplová.
