About this event
This is one of the oldest heritage contests in Lower Silesia, organized since 1986. The event is dedicated to protecting the cultural heritage that post-war settlers brought with them to this region. During the event, rural ensembles will present ancient customs related to bread baking, and performances will be judged by a jury composed of cultural anthropologists. The event will be complemented by traditional folk songs – from harvest and dożynki songs to those accompanying weddings. Of course, there will also be opportunities to taste exceptional baked goods!
Special guest:
This year, Marta Bejma and her band will perform on our stage! A finalist of the "Mam talent" show, she is an extraordinary artist, singer, and hurdy-gurdy player who beautifully combines traditional folk music, white voice singing, and hurdy-gurdy playing with modern sounds.
Come and listen to beautiful songs, taste traditional flavors, and celebrate together what builds our local identity.
You are cordially invited!
