Terezie Kovalová is one of the most prominent and prolific faces of the Czech classical scene - in more than two decades of her active career she has contributed to more than 80 recordings across genres and collaborated with dozens of domestic and international artists. As co-writer of the music for the film Arvéd, she received the Czech Lion, has repeatedly been a co-recipient of the Anděl Award and Forbes magazine has included her on the prestigious 30 under 30 list. In an open-air atmosphere, enjoy a fascinating dialogue of the centuries. Iconic compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach will be performed in unexpected arrangements using a bowed instrument that lends the power of a whole orchestra to a single instrument. The programme will be complemented by lesser-known gems of Czech musical history and the composer's own compositions on the borderline of modern classical music. The performance will take place in the courtyard of the Liebieg Palace, whatever the weather. Please note that umbrellas are not allowed for the visual comfort of visitors. Tickets will be on sale at the door or via evstupenka.cz. The venue and box office will open 30 minutes before the start of the performance. Refreshments can be purchased at the venue.
