About this event
Terezie Kovalová is one of the most prominent and prolific figures on the Czech classical scene – over more than two decades of her active career, she has participated in over 80 recordings across genres and collaborated with dozens of domestic and international artists. As co-author of the music for the film Arvéd, she received a Czech Lion, she has repeatedly been a co-recipient of an Anděl award, and Forbes magazine included her on its prestigious 30 Under 30 list. She rounded off her artistic versatility in 2025 with the release of her debut solo album, Zinka. In the open-air atmosphere, you can look forward to a fascinating dialogue of centuries. Iconic compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach will be presented in unexpected arrangements using a looper, giving a single instrument the power of a full orchestra. The program will be complemented by lesser-known gems of Czech musical history as well as the artist's own compositions on the border of modern classical music. The performance will take place in the courtyard of Palác Liebieg, in any weather. Please note that for the visual comfort of visitors, umbrellas are not permitted. Tickets will be on sale on-site or via the portal evstupenka.cz. The venue and box office open 30 minutes before the start of the performance. Refreshments available at the venue.
