Tour Guide Blonde combine Americana, dream pop, gentle grunge, and alternative rock with a musical precision rooted in jazz. Led by singer and guitarist Allison Wheeler, her original songs offer strong melodies, personal lyrics, and a contemporary sound. The concert promises energy, emotion, and surprising musical contrasts.

Tour Guide Blonde is an international project by American singer, guitarist, and songwriter Allison Wheeler, who joined forces in Prague with experienced musicians from the Czech and Slovak jazz and alternative scenes. The result is original music that moves between Americana, dream pop, alternative rock, and subtle grunge inspirations. Although the band drifts away from traditional jazz in terms of genre, the individual members' jazz background significantly influences the sophisticated arrangements, musical interplay, and openness to improvisation.

In the autumn of 2024, the group released their debut EP, Circles, showcasing their distinctive signature style. The mastering was handled by American drummer Nate Wood, known among other things for his collaborations with prominent figures in contemporary jazz. The concert program combines songs from this EP with new material, offering a diverse musical journey between melancholy, energy, and catchy melodies.

Tour Guide Blonde prove that festival jazz today doesn't have to mean only swing or modern improvisation. Their music naturally bridges jazz experience with alternative songwriting and brings a fresh perspective to the contemporary independent scene.
