Performers can perform their own work as well as cover versions by other bands. After all the performers have performed, a jury of professional musicians or people from the industry will evaluate their performances. The winner of the competition has the opportunity to record their single in a professional recording studio or perform at the BENÁTSKÁ festival, which takes place every year in the Liberec town of Vesec.
Tulifest also includes an accompanying programme for children and adults - art workshops and refreshments.
