Trumpeter Marek Zvolánek is among the best in his field; since 2006 he has been a member of the prestigious ensemble Ten of the Best, which is composed of ten trumpeters selected from around the world. After his studies at the Prague Conservatory in the class of Professor Antonín Vaigl, he continued with renowned European authorities, Hans Gansch, professor at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, and Konradin Groth from the Berlin Academy of Music. Already at the age of eighteen, he became a member of the Czech Philharmonic.
Bohuslav Lédl, a leading figure on the Turnov music scene, will take his place at the organ. The director of the Turnov Art School is also a conductor, pianist, organist, and composer.
