Christian has a strange diagnosis: he cannot stay in a relationship and buys his freedom by running away. To soothe his conscience, he always takes out a high life insurance policy for his wife, fakes an accident, and disappears from the world. This trick has worked for him twice already, and he is just about to “die” for the third time.
However, this time a coincidence disrupts his meticulously planned scenario – a childhood friend recognizes him due to a photo in the newspaper and tracks him down. Christian, used to having everything under control, must suddenly improvise and face his “widows” and his new fiancée in the same place. Will he manage to wiggle out of this trap this time too?
