About this event
They don't know each other, but both know water, oars, lenses, and self-discipline. A former Olympian and coach, Dušan Businský, and a water scout and future lawyer, Tadeáš Kamínek.
Dušan Businský (*1968, Ústí nad Labem), an educated economist and rower, was a member of ASC Dukla Praha and the Czech Republic's national team in his youth, and participated in the Olympic Games in Barcelona. For the last sixteen years, he has dedicated himself to management and his own business. He subsequently channeled his close relationship with the sports environment into his photography. He was introduced to photography by his father.
Tadeáš Kamínek (*2002, Brno), a future lawyer, has been an active scout since age five and is also a rower; together with Ondřej Kroutil, he photographed for the Czech Rowing Association for several years. He has had the opportunity to capture a number of world rowing events, and thanks to a series from one of them, he won an award at Czech Press Photo 2024 and an internship at the Czech News Agency. He plays the piano and keeps bees with his father. His dream is to one day photograph at the Olympics.
The exhibition is curated by Alena Čechová.
