Exhibition: Ivana Šrámková – Glass and Paintings

The retrospective exhibition will present both current work and a selection of pieces from previous decades.

Glass artist Ivana Šrámková, a graduate of Stanislav Libenský's school, focuses on kiln-cast sculpture. Her work can be divided into two main categories: in her small-scale sculpture, she elaborates on subjects primarily from the animal kingdom. In her large-format, technologically demanding objects, she captures figurative forms, yet abstracts their shapes to create almost archetypal, monumental objects.
