Space. Infinite reaches. Everything is moving. Everything is sounding. Everything is pulsing. And we are part of it. The ensemble of the Tanzcompagnie of the Gerhart-Hauptmann-Theater ventures into the universe of space, time, and matter: it dances the cosmos.
This is not a dance evening to sit back for, but an energy field composed of several choreographies. The individual pieces are created through the exchange between the dancers and their respective cultural backgrounds, each like its own planet, distinct yet part of a shared whole. Particles are set in motion, gravity is overcome, orbits meet, systems collide or inspire one another. From chaos, energy and balance emerge.
WELT RAUM is carried by a soundtrack created specifically for this evening: electronic beats, atmospheric sounds, and sweeping songs that traverse the space and set emotions soaring. The music drives, provides structure, and—breaks it apart again. It is both pulse and resistance.
