We are more than flesh and blood – Rainer Maria Rilke

To conclude the 9th edition of the Sechsstädtebund festival "Kommen und Gehen" ("Coming and Going"), Schloss Gröditz will also serve as a festival venue on August 23, 2026, at 11 a.m.: With the matinee concert "We are more than flesh and blood – Rainer Maria Rilke", the festival explores the life and work of the great poet in words and music. Guests include Julia Boegershausen, Andreas Rüdiger, Richard Schönfelder, and Beate Schander, who will bring Rilke's language and world of thought to life through a musical and literary performance in the atmospheric setting of the castle.
