Workshop: (My) Life in Pictures - From Memories to Digital History

Do you have a story from your life or from Zittau that needs to be told? Perhaps a special experience from your youth, a forgotten place in the city, or a family story that should be passed on? In this exciting workshop, we will turn your memories into a personal short video or a digital photo narrative.

The path to your film or photo collage:

We will visit the archive of the Christian-Weise-Bibliothek. Find historical photos and documents that enrich your story.
The story: Together, we will structure your memories. We will find the "red thread" for your project.
The camera: Learn how to take stable and beautiful shots with your smartphone or a simple camera.
The edit: We will bring images, videos, and your voice together. With simple steps, your finished work will come to life.
Premiere: Presentation of your work at a joint closing event at the library.

Who is this for?

For seniors and anyone interested who enjoys creative storytelling.
No prior knowledge required! You can work on your own project or a group project, and there will always be a contact person available to assist you.
Feel free to bring your own technical devices (smartphone, laptop or tablet, camera, etc.).

What you will have at the end: A finished digital video or photo collage that you can share with family and friends or exhibit at the library.
