All trails start and finish in the picturesque spa village of Oybin, framed by the silhouette of Oybin Hill, the castle and monastery ruins at the top, and its striking, rugged sandstone rocks. The best-known of these - not particularly tall, but particularly challenging - is Kelchstein, which decorates the medals presented for reaching the finish line.
